Acclaimed for his collaborations as much as his personal contributions to the reggae canon, Adrian Sherwood hails from Jamaica where he ripened as a young musician under the influences of such greats as Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Dennis Bovell and Little Roy. Sherwood, with his patent aesthetic and keen cultural attunement, would go on to lend his vision to funk, industrial and dub textures alike. Applying his innovative touch to pop, dancehall, world and politically motivated music, he has carved a unique niche for himself as a trailblazer and master of his craft.
