In collaboration with Way Out West we are presenting a few more artists this summer. As you might have noticed M.I.A. is booked for Way Out West taking place in the city park Slottskogen. A great booking that we are lookng forward to! However there are a few more things we would like you to pay attention to. We are proud to present legendary mbira collective Konono N°1 who return to the city after first impressing Gothenburgers with their performance at last years Clandestino Festival. We have also booked Sudanese voodoo group Rango (see picture); genre-bending Mutamassik with a new long middle finger to the music industry; super underground star Ras G & The African Space Program and our eternal source of inspiration, Dj Rupture arriving to town with Nettle and a new beatless album from the same project. Also add one of the heaviest dancehall ragga hip hop collectives right now, CIAfrica from Ivory Coast and last but not least the BBC:s global dub step introducer par excellence Mary Anne Hobbs.
