Jonathan Pye has been a political activist all his adult life, concerning himself with issues like anti-fascism, the environment and work against the occupation of Palestine. He works as an archaeologist. He has been in jail for rebel-rousing in Gothenburg during the summit 10 years ago. At times he has given lectures on radical left-wing policies. He was one of few swedes who traveled to Egypt instead of escaping it when the revolution picked up pace.
