Born in Algeria, grew up in Tunisia, now studying in Uppsala, Sweden. His familial and geo-political environment did not leave him the choice but to be deeply concerned by various political and social issues. The early “multi-cultural” experiences he had and some of the national tragedies he lived in pushed him to look for some art form of expression,where he could appreciate an esthetic re-appropriation of “modern” art (music mainly) with politically and socially significant content.
