The mountain ranges Altai and Khangai in western Mongolia surrounds a windswept plateau, 1500 meters above sea level. The music in this area is characterized by throat singing, morin khuur (a stringed instrument somewhere between violin and cello) and the flute tsuur, said to imitate the sound of the wind coming down from the snow-capped mountain ranges. The trio Altaï Khangaï carries the traditional music from the area into a time of urbanization and change. We are pleased to welcome Altaï Khangaï  to Clandestino Botnik July 25-27!| Read more & listen | Tickets
