Sparse 
Sparse was founded last year by Robert Lundgren on keybord and bass, Henrik Thyselius on acoustic guitar and singer Alexandra Wennersten. To Clandestino they will bring guest Pontus Torstensson who many know from Echodecks, as the perfectly unpredictable percussionist. The trio is based in Gothenburg. The members all come from different musical backgrounds, but by a stroke of luck they have welded together a common passion for semi-acoustic pop. The bands many influences are hardly able to discern as the music maintains a sparse flavor, simplicity, and complexity as trip-hop. ”Indefinite Lies” is their first single and has also laid the ground for what the group stands for. Their first EP was recorded at A/D Union studio near Redbergsplatsen, in the old Pellerins Margarinfabrik. So yes one does not always need to travel far to find a jewel. We feel tremendously cool who can present Sparse in their first live concert ever.
