Barrie James Sutcliffe is a multimedia artist based in Gothenburg. He works with installation, electronics, drone and noise music, and also plays 78-rpm records. At Clandestino he will play a set of music in the morning, of his most varied records. Barrie is not interested in the big old hits, though he has some of those, but rather in the obscure, forgotten, and ruined recordings that show up at the bottom of thrift store record crates — recordings that might not even be very good, but speak about another kind of popular culture no one remembers anymore. Check out Barries website here.
