CLANDESTINO BOTNIK, BOTTNA | 25-27 JULY

Ioana Cojocariu is a visual artist curently based in Malmo, Sweden. She holds an MFA from the Faculty of Art and Design Timișoara and she is now completing an MA in Critical and Pedagogical Studies at Malmö Art Academy, Sweden. During the last years her working method has  incorporated a performative dimension and her artistic approach has been research-based and interdisciplinary, working predominantly with text, sound, video and photography. Through her artwork, Ioana Cojocariu is invested in how representations of migrant bodies, labour, transnational subjectivity, and  history are shaped and negotiated.
