CLANDESTINO BOTNIK JULY 25–27
Now we are adding three brilliant new artists to the program for Clandestino Botnik: Chrysta Bell, King Ayisoba and Midaircondo. 2014’s edition of Clandestino Botnik takes place the 25th–27th of July, and besides fantastic music the festival will be filled with art, poetry and talks.
CHRYSTA BELL

KING AYISOBA
Two strings and a body of calabash. The kologo is a simple instrument from northern Ghana, but in the hands of King Ayisoba it creates explosive music. He beats out rudimentary riffs that come in endless melodic and harmonic variations – like a combination of banjo music and a drum machine. With the song I Want To See You My Father he was crowned as the king of Ghana Music Award Festival in 2007. His latets release is the album Modern Ghanians. | Read more & listen
MIDAIRCONDO
Midaircondo consists of two dynamic musicians from Gothenburg, Lisa Nordström and Lisen Rylander Löve. They are rooted in avantgarde sound art, razorsharp electronica, fragmented jazz and melancolic pop, and have made music for dance performances, film and TV and collaborated with symphony orchestras as well as with rock musicians. The duo is currently working on their new album that is to be released in 2014. | Read more & listen
