Mulatu Astatke

We are extremely excited to introduce ethio-jazz legend Mulatu Astatke as the first booking to Clandestino Botnik. Mulatu Astatke is one of the greatest musical innovators of our time! In the seventies he had a central role in Addis Ababa’s new music scene, where influences from American jazz and funk combined with East African melodies. He will come to Clandestino Botnik together with his band Step Ahead and his new album Sketches of Ethiopia in the luggage.  | Read more & listen
